This course provides a comprehensive understanding of essential electrical testing procedures in line with Australian Standards. It focuses on building practical skills and technical knowledge required for safe and compliant electrical installations.

Key Learning Outcomes

• Understanding past testing issues and current mandatory testing requirements
• In-depth knowledge of the Multiple Earthed Neutral (MEN) system and its importance
• Identification and rectification of faults, including:
  • Line impedance issues
  • Earth-fault-loop impedance problems
  • Incorrect or reversed polarity
• Pre-connection testing and verification of consumer mains
• Step-by-step use of the Metrel Polarity Plus MI 3106 testing device
• Multiple master metering testing, including pre-1976 panel considerations
• Ensuring safety and compliance with Australian Standards
