Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) Course

Duration: 1 Day

This one-day course is designed for participants who may be required to provide CPR and perform a first aid response in emergency situations across community and workplace environments. It helps refresh critical skills and provides the confidence and competence to perform CPR on casualties affected by low voltage electrocution.

For the LVR Refresher Module, participants must have previously completed this module. Evidence may include certificates, statements of attainment, transcripts, or other formal/informal documentation.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Participants must have basic language, literacy, numeracy (LLN), and physical capabilities
  • Minimum age: 18 years (or parental/guardian consent required if under 18)
  • Must provide at least 2 forms of identification (one photographic)
  • All students must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)

Modules

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

  • HLTAID009 - Provide CPR
  • UETDRMP018 - Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel

Each module is nationally recognised and valid for 12 months. Low Voltage Rescue must be renewed every 12 months for individuals working on live systems.

Attire Requirement

Participants must wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, and enclosed footwear.

Please note, this course is delivered upon request and requires a minimum of two bookings to run. Our administration team will advise you on availability.

Language, Literacy & Numeracy Requirement (LLN)

Participants must have general (Level 2) language, literacy, numeracy, and physical capabilities to meet the performance criteria of this unit. Please contact the office if you have any concerns.
